RESUMEN
Se describe una nueva especie hespérica de Cardiophorus: C. (Coptostethus) platai nov. sp. de la isla de Lanzarote (Canarias), estudiándose sus relaciones con otras especies del género.
ABSTRACT
A new singular species of Cardiophorus of hesperico subgenus Coptostethus Wollaston, from Lanzarote, the unique island of the Canary Archipielago without noted representation. It is denonced the convergence of facies with the continental C: exaratus Erichson, and a study is made about interespecific differences with the true species of vicinity.
