Aphidiins (Hymenoptera, Braconidae) from Andorra
A. Sanchis, J.JVI. Micheleoa & J. Pujade
ABSTRACT
The first data on Andorran aphidiins are reportad. Although tbis is a small country, the fauna of the Northeastem pait of the Iberian Peninsula is so poorly known that this contribution is of importance. Only some áreas of the íberian Peninsula had been sampled until now, such as León province (TIZADO, 1990; NU?_EZ, 1991), the Valencian Communiry (GONZ?_LEZ & MICHELENA, 1987; MICHELENA & GONZ?_LEZ, 1987, 1988), the peninsular centre (SANCHIS et al., 1995) and some Portuguese regions (COSTA, 1988; 1992).

Sampling was carried out in the locality of Santa Coloma (Andorra), in 1993, by using a Malaise trap. The study of the 821 specimens collected discriminated 39 species grouped in 12 genera, namely: ?_üialyius Foerster, 1862, Aphidius Nees. 1818, Diaereíiella Stary, 1960, Diaerelits Foerster, 1862, Ephednts Haliday, 1833, Lipolexis Foerster, 1862, Lysiphlebi4S Foerster, 1862, Paralipsis Foerster, 1862, Panesia Quilis, 193 L Praon Haliday, 1833, Parapraon Stary, 1983 y Trioxys Haliday. 1833.

Temporal distribution and variation in diversity through the year is analyzed. Máximum trapping is detected in spring-summer and summer-autumn transitions although local variability may be observed. However, these punctual effects are due mainly to few species belonging to the genera Aphidius and Praon, so both genera are seeing as conditioning the general data. Special attention is given to Aphidius en>i Haliday, 1834 and Praon volucrc (Haliday, 1833) since they have been the two more frequent species.

Trioxys centaurcae (Haliday, 1833) is recorded for the fírst time from the Iberian Peninsula and new data on two poorly known species, Parapraon gaiiicum Stary, 1971 and Aphidius arlemisicola Tizado & Nuñez, 1994, are given.
