Primer registro de esquizómidos en la península ibérica (Arachnida, Schizomida)
First record of the order Schizomida in the Iberian Peninsula (Arachnida, Schizomida)

RESUMEN
Se han capturado 52 ejemplares del esquizómido Stenochrus portoricensis Chamberlin, 1922 en una galería de un acueducto romano en la provincia de Sevilla. Otro lote de especímenes capturados en la reserva natural de Florida International University (Miami, USA) nos ha permitido determinar la identidad de esta especie. Estas capturas en Sevilla constituyen el primer registro del orden Schizomida en la península ibérica.
ABSTRACT
Fifty-two specimens of the short-tailed whipscorpion Stenochrus portoricensis Chamberlin, 1922 were captured during a sampling survey in an old water roman mine in Seville (Spain). Another set of specimens captured in the Natural Preserve at Florida International University (Miami, USA) allowed us to confirm the identity of this species. These new captures from Seville represent the first record of the order Schizomida for the Iberian Peninsula.
