Se actualiza el conocimiento del género Ctenolepisma en España peninsular y Baleares a través del estudio de numerosas muestras recogidas principalmente por los autores y de la puesta al día de los últimos cambios taxonómicos en especies de este género. Se citan 8 especies de Ctenolepisma, de las cuales 2 pertenecen al subgénero Sceletolepisma sensu Irish. Se amplía la descripción de Ctenolepisma (Sceletolepisma) guadianicum, indicando la variabilidad observada en su quetotaxia y añadiendo datos sobre la hembra de esta especie, no descrita originalmente. Se cita por primera vez la especie C. algharbicum en España y se aportan nuevos datos sobre las restantes especies (C. almeriense, C. ciliatum, C. lineatum, C. longicaudatum, C. nicoletii y C. targionii) que amplían su área de distribución conocida dentro del área de estudio. Se aporta finalmente una clave de identificación de todas las especies iberobaleares de Ctenolepisma.

The knowledge of the genus Ctenolepisma in Peninsular Spain and the Balearics is updated on the basis of the study of several samples collected mostly by the authors, and the recent taxonomic changes in species of this genus. Eight species of Ctenolepisma are reported; two of them belong to the subgenus Sceletolepisma sensu Irish. The original description of Ctenolepisma (Sceletolepisma) guadianicum is completed, indicating the variability in the chaetotaxy that has been observed in this taxon, and describing for the first time the female sex. C. algharbicum is reported for the first time in Spain. Moreover, new data about the remaining species (C. almeriense, C. ciliatum, C. lineatum, C. longicaudatum, C. nicoletii and C. targionii) are given, widening their geographic range inside the area of study. This work concludes with a key for the identification of all Ctenolepisma species of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearics.
