RESUMEN
En este artículo se revisa la aportación de Wilhelm Gottlieb Rosenhauer y de Maximilien Spinola en el conocimiento de las hormigas de Andalucía destacando que fueron los autores de las primeras citas sobre este grupo en esta región. Además se resuelven algunos problemas relacionados con la fecha de descripción y la localidad típica de Anochetus ghilianii, especie descrita por M. Ghiliani y que representa la primera hormiga correctamente citada para esta comunidad y para la península ibérica.
ABSTRACT
This article examines the contributions of Wilhelm Gottlieb Rosenhauer and Maximilien Spinola in the knowledge of the ants of Andalusia stressing that they were the authors of the first appointments on this group in this region. Some controversies related to the date of description and the typical locality of Anochetus ghilianii, species described by M. Ghiliani that represents the first ant properly register to this community and to the Iberian Peninsula, are solved.
