Se hace un estudio de la distribución de los ortópteros de la vega del río Andarax (Almería, España), en relación con la vegetación silvestre. Para ello se consideran las series de vegetación existentes en la estratificación bioclimática establecida por RIVAS-MART?_NEZ (1987) y recogida también por MOTA & VALLE (1987). Se aplica un análisis de afinidad tipo cluster para apreciar la relación de las categorías consideradas, comprobando la neta separación de los pisos bioclimáticos en función de su contenido de especies de ortópteros, la similitud entre las series vecinas, así como entre las comunidades vegetales independientemente de la serie a la que pertenecen.

Ecological study of the Orthoptera from the Andarax Valley. (Insecta: Orthoptera). Distribution in relation with the vegetation. A study of the orthoptera distribution in the Andarax Valley (Almería, Spain) is made in relation with wild vegetation. We have considered the vegetation series set in the bioclimatical stratification stablished by RIVAS-MARTINEZ (1987) and recordered by MOTA & VALLE (1987). The similarity between neighbour series and vegetal communities from different stages are studied and algo the difference of species composition in the bioclimatical stratification.
