RESUMEN
Se describen las manifestaciones acústicas de Chortippus binotatus binotatus (Charpentier, 1825) y, sobre la base de su estudio y de un estudio anatómico y biométrico de ejemplares procedentes de distintas zonas de la Península Ibérica, se discute su estatus taxonómico, proponiéndose la sinonimia de Ch. binotatus dilutus Ebner, 1941, y se determina su distribución geográfica.
ABSTRACT
The song of Chortippus binotatus binotatus (Charpentier, 1825) is described, and its taxonomic status is discused on the basis of the song study and a anatomic and biometric study made on specimens belonging to different areas of the Iberian Peninsula. The synonymy of Ch. binotatus dilutus Ebner, 1941 is proposed. The geographic distribution of the species is stablished.
