RESUMEN
Se estudia un representante del subgénero Polasida Reitter, 1917 = Opatrasida Escalera, 1922. El holotipo de Asida (Opatrasida) saguntina Escalera, 1922, conservado en el Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales, Madrid, es claramente diferente de la fotografía publicada por A. VI?_OLAS & M. C. CARTAGENA (2005) en la reciente ?__Fauna de Tenebrionidae de la Península Ibérica y Baleares?__. El ejemplar erróneamente figurado como un macho, es posiblemente una hembra de una especie inédita del género Asida s. str. Latreille, 1802.
ABSTRACT
A representative of the subgenus Polasida Reitter, 1917= Opatrasida Escalera, 1922 is studied. The holotype of Asida (Opatrasida) saguntina Escalera, 1922 preserved in the National Museum of Natural Sciences, Madrid, clearly differs from the image in the photography published by A. Viñolas and M. C. Cartagena (2005), in the recent ?__Fauna de Tenebrionidae de la Península Ibérica y Baleares?__. The specimen wrongly figured as a male, is a female most probably of a new undescribed species of the genus Asida s, str. Latreille, 1802.
