RESUMEN
Se recolectaron tres ejemplares de Heterobostrychus aequalis en Madrid procedentes de una caja decorativa manufacturada en Toledo. Se alerta de la capacidad de dispersión de esta especie y del riesgo al patrimonio cultural que puede suponer su establecimiento en nuestras latitudes. Se hace necesario articular sistemas de detección e identificación de este tipo de especies, así como difundir las observaciones reportadas entre el personal responsable de museos, centros de investigación y otras instituciones públicas.
ABSTRACT
Three specimens of Heterobostrychus aequalis were collected in Madrid from a decorative box manufactured in Toledo. It warns of the dispersal capacity of this species and the risk to cultural heritage that its establishment in our latitudes may entail. It is necessary to articulate detection and identification systems for this type of species, as well as to spread the reports made among the personnel of museums, research centers and other public institutions.
