RESUMEN
En la cordillera Cantábrica y el macizo Galaico-Duriense hay varios taxones del género Pterostichus cuya fisonomía externa es similar, lo que dificulta la identificación correcta de los mismos. Se aporta una clave para identificar de forma fiable estas especies y se añade datos de nuevas capturas, al tiempo que se precisa su distribución peninsular. Se propone el nombre Pterotichus (Oreophilus) appendiculatus (Gautier, 1869) para denominar a lo que se venía conociendo como P. (Oreophilus) cantaber (Chaudoir, 1868). Se aportan otras correcciones nomenclaturales menores.
ABSTRACT
A number of taxa of the genus Pterostichus with similar black dorsum and about 14-18 mm in size are found in the Cantabrian mountains and Portugal, what makes it difficult a rapid identification on the ground. An illustrated key is presented to facilitate an accurate identification of these taxa. Likewise, new collecting data and a more precise distribution area are given. It is proposed the name Pterotichus (Oreophilus) appendiculatus (Gautier, 1869) to denote beetles that were currently named as P. (Oreophilus) cantaber (Chaudoir, 1868). Other minor nomenclatural notes are also included.
