RESUMEN
Se describe la nueva especie Orogastrura octoseta n. sp. Esta especie difiere de las restantes Orogastrura por poseer una quetotaxia dorsal de tipo hipogastruriano (seda p3 presente en los terguitos abdominales I-IV) y por la estructura del mucrodens. Por medio de un análisis factorial de correspondencias se ha estudiado la validez de los caracteres utilizados para separar las dos especies próximas O. octoseta n. sp. y O. dilatata (Cassagnau, 1959).
ABSTRACT
The new species Orogastrura octoseta n.sp. is described. it is distinguished from other Orogastrura by the possession of hypogastrurian-like dorsal chaetotaxy (seta p3 present on abdominal tergites I-IV) and the structure of the mucrodens. The validity of the characters used to separate the two related species O. octoseta n. sp. and O. dilatata (Cassagnau, 1959) was studied in a correspondence analysis.
