RESUMEN
Se cita por primera vez, para Europa, la especie Karnyothrips americanus (Hood, 1912). Se realiza un estudio de la variabilidad de los caracteres de dicha especie, para ambos sexos, y se incluye un análisis de la genitalia del macho desconocida hasta ahora.
ABSTRACT
Karnyothrips americanus (Hood, 1912) in the Iberian Peninsula (Thysanoptera, Phlaeothripidae). Karnyothrips americanus (Hood, 1912) is recorded for first time in Europe. It is made a study of the variability of the characters for both sexs and it is included an analisys of the genitalia of the male, unknown until now.
