RESUMEN
Se da a conocer Europhilus gracilis (Sturm, 1824) por primera vez para la Península Ibérica. Se indican las diferencias fundamentales que existen entre las tres especies ibéricas de Europhilus Chaudoir, 1859 (E. thoreyi, E. fuliginosus y E. gracilis), basadas en caracteres genitales femeninos (espermatecas).
ABSTRACT
Identification of the Iberian species of the genus Europhilus Chaudoir, 1859 (Col. Carabidae, Platynini) using the spermathecal complex. Europhilus gracilis (Sturm, 1824) new record for the Iberian Peninsula. The species Europhilus gracilis (Sturm, 1824) is recorded for the first time in the Iberian Peninsula. Main differences in female genitalia characters between Iberian species of the genus Europhilus Chaudoir, 1859 (E. thoreyi, E. fuliginosus and E. gracilis) are shown.
