RESUMEN
Se describe una nueva especie del género Soteriscus: S. disimilis n.sp. procedente de las Islas Canarias. Esta especie, emparentada con el Soteriscus colasi Vandel y Matsakis 1959, representa un endemismo de las dos islas más orientales, Fuerteventura y Lanzarote, y con ella el rango de distribución genérico se amplía a todas las islas del Archipiélago Canario. Sus hábitats son más diversos que los de los otros representantes de este género en Canarias y se distribuye desde las rasas costeras hasta las cotas más elevadas en ambas islas.
ABSTRACT
A new species of genus Soteriscus from the Canary Islands is described: Soteriscus disimillis n. sp. This species, related to Soteriscus colasi Vandel and Matsakis 1959, represents and endemic species of the two Easternmost islands, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. With this species, the rank of the generical distribution includes all islands of Canary Archipel. Its habitats are more diverse than other species of this genus in Canary Islands and ranges from the coastal-plain to the highest parts of both islands.
