Se presenta por primera vez en España un catálogo faunístico de los isópodos terrestres en un entorno urbano. La zona de estudio está situada en el este del municipio de Madrid, un área en proceso de renaturalización que se ha visto alterada por el desarrollo de actividades mineras y el vertido de residuos. Con el objetivo de caracterizar la fauna de isópodos terrestres, se realizaron muestreos regulares en el entorno de las Lagunas de Ambroz durante los años 2020 y 2021. Se estudiaron un total de 433 ejemplares pertenecientes a 11 especies de las familias Armadillidae, Armadillidiidae, Philosciidae y Porcellionidae. Se registra por primera vez en la península ibérica Armadillidium cf. arcangelii Strouhal, 1929, un taxón ajeno a la fauna ibérica que anteriormente se había citado como especie indeterminada en invernaderos de Gran Bretaña. Además, se citan por primera vez Chaetophiloscia sicula Verhoeff, 1908, Leptotrichus panzerii (Audouin, 1826) y Lucasius andalusicus Garcia, 2019 en la Meseta Central. Los resultados ponen en manifiesto la complejidad y riqueza de las comunidades de isópodos terrestres presentes en este ambiente urbano y resaltan la importancia de conservar el entorno de las Lagunas de Ambroz.

A faunistic catalogue of terrestrial isopods from an urban environment is reported for the first time in Spain. The study zone is located in the east of the municipality of Madrid, an area in the process of renaturalisation which has been altered by mining and construction waste dumping. To characterise the terrestrial isopod fauna from the environment of the Lagunas de Ambroz, surveys were carried out from 2020 to 2021. A total of 433 specimens belonging to 11 species of the families Armadillidae, Armadillidiidae, Philosciidae and Porcellionidae were studied. Armadillidium cf. arcangelii Strouhal, 1929, a non-Iberian taxon which had previously been reported as an indeterminate species in greenhouses in Great Britain, is recorded for the first time in the Iberian Peninsula. Additionally, Chaetophiloscia sicula Verhoeff, 1908, Leptotrichus panzerii (Audouin, 1826) and Lucasius andalusicus Garcia, 2019 are recorded for the first time in the Meseta Central. Results reveal the complexity and richness of the terrestrial isopod communities and stress the importance of conserving the environment of the Lagunas de Ambroz.
